As the sun set on a day that was longer than yesterday, a few of the hands were trickling into the bunk house after the serving of fine victuals for supper. They were quietly drinking coffee from the sheep herder pot on the stove and rolling a few Bull Durham cigarettes. All were quiet waiting for somebody to bring up a topic for conversation. Squints Seymore eventually broke the ice by stating that he had made another pass by the little book library in front of the Broadway Boarding House. "Any of you boys ever hear of archaeology? Me neither. The book is about studying history of ancient times and artifacts and ruins. It talks about men who go all over the world searching in remote locations searching for artifacts."

Witless Willy Wilson pipes up and says that he saw a broadhead posted in town advertising this week's movie at the Eden Brook bijou theater about such a man searching for something called the lost ark; a container holding the stones of the Ten Commandments given to Moses back in the day.

Witless, of course, was referring to the movie that will be shown Wednesday, February 5th at 6 PM in the Eden Brook basement theater. The movie is "Raiders of the Lost Ark." This is a 1981 film produced by Steven Spielberg. As is usual at the movie night, snacks and beverages are provided free. Running time is 115 minutes so you can see the movie and still get up early enough for ranch chores.
