Buenos Dias Amigos and and cowboy wranglers.
Any body up for betting on tumbleweeds as they race across the prairie as fast as a good horse? We could stack 'em up against the coral gate, tie colored cloth to 'em then open the gate and watch them blow across the front forty to the town road. First weed to the town road wins the pot. The wind lately has been unnerving. I'm tired of chasing down my stetson.
You will have a chance to get out of the breeze and take in a decent western movie on Wednesday, March 5th at the Sunny Ridge basement theater. The 1966, Ralph Nelson directed movie, Duel at Diablo will be showing at 6 PM. Snacks and beverages are provided and served by the SPRC cowboy posse.
This classic 60's western stars James Garner, Sidney Poitier, Dennis Weaver and Bibbi Andersson. An ex-scout is out to find who murdered and scalped his Indian wife. He is looking to exact revenge. Another plot tags along and it all comes together in Diablo canyon. Join us Wednesday evening and if your hair is messed up, we don't care. Feel free to put on some cowboy bling.
